Our app and website is used by over 35,000 healthcare professionals daily, including pharmacy and optometry teams. Our software has been successfully integrated into the UK’s largest healthcare organisations.

About this role We’re looking for a commercially focused Financial controller that will take responsibility for the finance function within our business.

This is a part time opportunity (2 or 3 days per week). Applications from freelancers will also be considered.

We are currently supported by an internal bookkeeper who performs transactional bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, invoicing, VAT returns and any debtors collection and an external accountant provides support on preparing the monthly management accountants and preparing the annual financial statements.

Job Requirements

Experience you’ll need to be successful in this role

  • Qualified with ACA / ACMA/ ACCA or similar level
  • Experience of working with another business is a similar capacity
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Experience working within tech is a bonus

Job Duties

Responsibilities Reporting directly to the CEO the successful candidate will have responsibility for:

  • Budgeting and Planning: Ability to prepare meaningful analysis for strategic decisions and model financial scenarios
  • Manage KPI reporting across the Business to drive decision-making
  • Financial analysis and modelling, help us to identify financial levers and formulate growth strategies through market segmentation, pricing, churn analysis and understanding of profitability
  • Understand current performance and the strategy map, and make recommendations that help achieve company goals.
  • Leading process Implementation: Develop and follow through with processes that will streamline operations
