Introducing Rate Negotiation - get a rate that works for you
Great news, we have launched Rate Negotiation through our website, this powerful new feature will allow you to negotiate rates directly with the pharmacy, saving you time and allowing you to negotiate a rate and/or milage that will work for you!
Benefits
- You will have the opportunity to negotiate both shift rate and/or mileage.
- You will be able to justify their reasoning for a negotiation. For example if it is a particularly busy store
- This will be a direct communication line to the shift coordinator meaning you will no longer have to take multiple phone calls to negotiate a rate
- You’ll find out much quicker if the pharmacy is willing to pay the rate you have requested, allowing you to either book the day or look for alternative work.
How will Rate Negotiation work in practice?
If a shift is marked as ‘negotiable’ you will be able to negotiate the rate and milage up to the highest booked rate for that branch.
Beside the Apply button on the job shift page a Negotiate Rate button will be displayed.
Clicking this will open a modal containing the following fields:
- Proposed Rate (Text Box) - to submit a rate
- Require full mileage checkbox
- Reason (Text Box) - must be filled out giving a reason why they want a higher rate. (We will inform the user that this message will go straight to the employer therefore profanity will not be tolerated).
Your application with the negotiated rate and /or milage will then be received by the employer and you will receive confirmation of the shift being won in the usual way.
If the employer comes back with an alternative negotiation you will have a notification under the ‘rejected negotiations’ tab shown above.
