We’ve recently launched a new feature on the Locate a Locum platform “Block Booking”. This new feature will enable employers with the ability to create a block of shifts across a single store location. This will eliminate the need to book individual shifts and enable employers to benefit from the consistency of having a single locum cover a block of shifts.

Types of Blocks

There are two types of blocks that an employer can create. These are “Optional Blocks” where locums can select which shifts within the block they wish to apply for. And “Mandatory Blocks” where locums can only apply for the block in its entirety or none at all.

How will locums find the blocks?

There will be a blocks quick filter option on the “Locum Jobs” search that will enable locums to effortlessly locate available blocks within their selected location.

Depending on the block configuration the locum will then be able to apply for selected shifts within the block or the entire block.
