At Locate a Locum, we have a dedicated team of Locum Success Consultants who manage different regions in the United Kingdom. The role of the Locum Success Consultant is to support you, the locum pharmacist or optometrist, in your career journey with us. We can assist with wage queries, store updates, issuing smart cards and any other staff related queries.

What’s your favourite part of your role: I love being able to build relationship's with Locums & customers and also, working as part of a great team who are motivated in meeting targets!
What region do you support: Midlands
What services can you provide to locums: Assist with negotiations, send out gaps depending on your availability, support you with booking shifts, be the 'middle man' between the Locum & the pharmacy rather than the Locum speaking directly with the client.
What advice would you give someone interested in becoming a locum: Speak to your consultant to give your availability etc for shifts, keep your compliance documentation up to date, be on time & don't cancel last minute- good feedback will give you a better chance of being booked again in future.
Random fact about yourself: A couple of evenings a week I volunteer at a cat rescue home, we nurse kittens, bring in abandoned cats and help bring them back to good health so they can be rehomed. We also have a large group of feral cats who we feed and look after at the rescue!
