Over the coming months, we will be spotlighting our bookings team members, to give you a better insight into who the team is made up of internally.
Starting with our very own, Alison. Alison has been with us for over 3 years now and is a hard working, valuable and enthusiastic asset to our team.
We asked her a couple of questions about what she does and this is what she had to say..
Who are you and what regions are you responsible for?
I’m Alison and my job role is Locum coordinator/ Account Manager. I am primarily responsible for looking after Scotland and Northern Ireland. I also organise stay aways all over the UK.
What do you do on a day to day and do you enjoy it?
It changes most days! But mainly I speak to locums and pharmacies on a daily basis placing pharmacists into suitable shifts. I absolutely love waking up everyday knowing I'm going to be speaking to someone different today. You never really know what the day will bring. I enjoy speaking to different people on a daily basis and that no two days are the same. I also get along really well in our team which is always a positive! I also like helping people out- whether it’s finding a locum a shift or helping a pharmacy coordinator source one.
How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as being outgoing, chatty and generally quite positive!
