Great news, we’re updating our ‘Rota’ to make it even more user-friendly for employers. Each of the following feature updates and changes has been enhanced based on feedback from our customers. With this in mind, we are especially looking forward to sharing the latest improvements.
What’s New?
Allow coordinators to book and cancel locums via rota
This was a much-requested improvement and cuts - this update gives coordinators the ability to click on a vacant shift on the rota and see live applications without navigating away from the rota. Not only can you see applicants, you now have the ability to book or decline from this modal.

Allow coordinators to manage expenses via rota
The shift modal in the rota now has an added tab allowing coordinators to view expenses within the shift. Previously this modal only came equipped with the ability to add shift notes. The addition of more ‘shift event’ tabs will greatly improve the user experience.

Allow coordinators to view the locum profiles via rota
As well as being able to see live applicants for vacant shifts via the rota, coordinators can now also now via a booked locum or employees profile via the rota modal. This eliminates the need to navigate away from the rota in order to check details.

Remove reports tab and highlight Gaps, Unpublished Shifts, Double Cover as buttons inside the rota itself (with totals flagged).
The reports section has now been moved from the rota page and now can be found within the Reports section (via main navigation). All the reports that could previously be found via the rota will still exist within the new dashboard.

Allow coordinators to complete branch swap for employees from shift modal
Coordinators now have the ability to re-assign a shift to a locum or an employee from the rota page. With the ‘Open Shift’ modal there is now the ability to assign ‘staff’ or search bank pool and assign a direct locum. Again, this means coordinators will no longer need to navigate away from the rota page to make shift changes.
