In this first episode of our locum podcasts, Nick takes us through the importance of valuing yourself as a locum pharmacist and how to get to the top of your game in the pharmacy profession.

A little bit about Nick Parry:

Nick Parry is a 26 year old qualified pharmacist with a masters in pharmacy from LJMU and has worked for a number of pharmacies including Boots, Lloyds, McKeevers as well as locuming for a number of independents too. He started out his career at 17 years old when he started working as a sales assistant for Lloyds whilst studying at school and worked his way up to being a dispenser.

Nick opens up to us about some of his top tips on how you can maximise your locum value so that you can make more money as a locum and answers some key questions such as ‘are you really worth your rate?’. Nick provides great insight into his experiences of locum life and openly dubunks some of the common myths about the pharmacy profession.
