Have you got your thoughts turned to what 2021 has in store for your career and whether you will get the pay rise you want? It is also likely that you’ll want to know whether it will be a good time to look for a new job and what locations might be best suited to you and your needs! First up on the list is Kent!

Kent

Kent, England

Tucked away in the most south easterly corner of the UK, Kent is well-known for its picturesque countryside and stunning coastlines. With the English Channel and the Straits of Dover and to the south, and the North Sea and the Thames Estuary to the north, Kent has a lot of coastline. Packed into the 350 miles of coastline are some of the prettiest seaside destinations in the whole of the UK. Popular beauty spots such as Margate, the Isle of Sheppy and, of course, the world-famous White Cliffs of Dover have made Kent a favourite with the newly settled.

Further inland, Kent contains many well-known towns & cities, including the historic city of Canterbury with its iconic cathedral, plus many lesser-known but charming towns and villages. These urban areas are encircled by the stunning surroundings of the Kent countryside - rolling farmland, steep hills, woodlands, and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the form of the Kent Downs. These beautiful surroundings have earned Kent its famous nickname as the ‘Garden of England’, and makes it a perfect place to bring up a family.

Devon

Devon, England

Next up we have the beautiful county of Devon. Looking over the hedges at the contented animals eating lush green grass is probably as good an indicator as any that the home reared meat in Devon is some of the best in the country. Don’t just take my word for it, ask the many top London restaurants who source their meat from Devon farmers. It also tends to be milder in Devon with some areas getting more rain than others. But when the sun is out over the rolling landscape there is no finer place to be with everywhere having a rich lushness, particularly some of the extraordinary gardens open to visitors.

Little Hampton - West Sussex

Little Hampton, West Sussex

Littlehampton is a vibrant town situated on the stunning South Coast. It is considered a wonderful town to live in and move to, since the two award-winning beaches, the beautiful River Arun and large seafront green, are appealing to individuals, couples and families.

It’s a seaside town with lots to see and do, plentiful character and much to explore, especially considering it dates back to prehistoric and Roman times. The area was owned, at one point, by the Earls of Arundel but it was developed from a small fishing community into a port to combat the narrowness of the river Arun.

With a dynamic range of contemporary architecture married with traditional, classic English seaside culture, Littlehampton is a fantastic place for anyone looking to move to the coast. With great housing prices, both in the renting and buying markets, good schools and a host of water sports and local activities to get involved in.

If you are looking for a change or looking to advance your career, we are currently looking for a Pharmacy Manager in Little Hampton. For more information visit our website by clicking here.

Douglas - Isle of Man

Isle of Man

The main thing you can benefit from relocating to the Isle of Man would be the ability to be able to enjoy the country while still being able to benefit from being so close to the town. By working in the town and living in the country, you will only have a 20 minute commute into the Island's business centre. Work life balance on the Island isn't just about opportunities outside of work, it reflects your whole lifestyle down to where you live.

For those that prefer country life, but work in the towns, then Douglas is a short commute with all major roads on the Island leading to it. For those that prefer living in town, flats and houses in Peel, Douglas and Ramsey give you great access to shops and restaurants, with all your amenities on your doorstep.

Doncaster

Doncaster’s racecourse is home to one of the biggest races in the calendar – The St Leger – and it’s one of the most historic racecourses in Britain. There has been racing here for over 400 years and a day at the races is always a great experience. While the St Leger meeting in the Autumn is the highlight, there are plenty of race days to enjoy all year round with both flat and jump meetings. If racing isn’t your thing, then you might enjoy the leisure side more.

Markets have always been a key part of Doncaster’s culture and the Wool Market has recently been refurbished to create a trendy and relaxing place to eat, drink, shop and be entertained. You’ll still find traditional market stalls here too with fresh produce (the fish is particularly good) and lots of other traders. Doncaster is also very well connected and there will be times you want to get away – even if just for a short time! The A1M and the East Coast main line get you to London for a taste of the big city and Scotland for unspoilt countryside. Plus lots of great places in between.
