Locum First Then, Locum First Now

From Locate a Locum’s inception locums have been at the heart of everything we do. Six years ago our founder Jonny Clarke noticed a gap in the pharmacy market for a digital response to locum recruitment. Working as a locum pharmacist himself, he knew firsthand the frustration of leaving business cards in pharmacies to be placed in a drawer along with everyone else hoping to get called when that store needed a locum. There had to be a better way!

And that’s why Locate a Locum was developed. Locate a Locum is a software platform that can be used by locum healthcare workers to find available shifts in their chosen location at the best rates available.

Recently we completed our annual customer survey where we ask you exactly what you like about LaL and where you think we can make some improvements. So here is a summary of some of the feedback we received.

You love our App

We asked our locums what their favourite thing about LaL was and over half of you said it was our app - from how user friendly it is to the diary feature - you raved about how it made your life easier. User interface is easy and friendly to use. one of the cleanest apps I have used to book shifts and generally sleek design Because you love our app so much our team has dedicated time and resource this year to make it even better. We are working to enhance the stability and functionality of the app because we know how much our locums rely on it for their worklife. Our team have been working on new and enhanced features already to make the app even better - stay tuned!

Bring Back Worked Before

You asked and we listened, our locums told us how much they missed the “Worked Before” filter on our app - so by popular demand we have reintroduced it. We have also made it easier to find “Block Bookings” and “Emergency Shifts” in your area with just 1 click! Worked Before Filter

Even More Rewards

Our Level Up rewards programmme recently launched and so far you’ve loved it - you just want more of it. So our team is now busy developing even more rewards to give back to our locums. We’ve even made it easier for you to track your rewards by adding it to our app so you always know when your next reward is coming.
