We have brought together an excellent panel of industry experts to share with you their career journeys. These pharmacy professionals have experience in community and hospital pharmacy along with other exciting alternatives within the pharmacy field. We’ve recently announced our industry experts as Yasir Sacranie, Thorrun Govind and Sarina Mughal. You can find out more about our panel by reading below.
Speaker 1: Yasir Sacranie | Director of MicroPharm, Specialist HIV Pharmacist and Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice
Yasir is a Specialist HIV Pharmacist working for Nottingham University Hospitals and a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice for De Montfort Hospital. He is also the director of MicroPharm, MicroPharm is an online platform designed to provide high-quality medical education for trainee pharmacists and healthcare professionals.

Speaker 2: Thorrun Govind | Pharmacist and Industry Expert
Thorrun is a pharmacist with a strong media presence. Thorrun has experience in a range of media organisations including the BBC, both in radio and television. She has utilised local and national media to promote pharmacy, including stints as the resident pharmacist at BBC Radio Lancashire, BBC Radio London and appearances on BBC Newsnight and the Victoria Derbyshire Show.
Thorrun has also interned in Parliament and uses social media to advocate for the profession and is a prolific tweeter - @pharmthorrun. In 2018 she was nominated by her MP for the NHS70 Parliamentary Awards - Healthier Communities Award for her advocacy

Speaker 3: Sarina Mughal | Pharmacy Director | "Pharm-preneur"
Sarina has been a qualified pharmacist for nearly 9 years and has had a large variety of roles during her career. From locuming and being a pharmacy manager to managing multi million pound projects in healthcare. Her most recent endeavours include specialising in medical cannabis, being a pharmacy director and venturing into the world of aesthetics.
Sarina loves to give back to the pharmacy profession and often gets involved in mentoring and lecturing pharmacy students and trainee pharmacists. Due to the variety of work she is involved with Sarina refers to herself as as a "Pharm-preneur".
