The new Locate a Locum community represents 5 different values.

Bringing Locums Together: This is a way for us to bring all of our Locate a Locum Locums together in one space by providing an outlet for you all to talk about personal experiences and share knowledge and advice. This is where locums will be openly called out for being a ‘TOP’ locum with us, allowing us to reward you where we can.

Celebrating Success: In the group, we do monthly competition giveaways for people who are liking, commenting and contributing in some way towards the group. These giveaways will present themselves in the form of amazon vouchers or cash prizes - whichever you would prefer. This is to encourage you all to speak to one another and share knowledge where you can.

Self Expression: Our next value is about ‘self expression’. The community is a place for all Locate a Locum locums to express themselves. Share industry updates, topic discussions and thoughts. This gives you an excellent opportunity to get to know other locums who work as hard as you do and to make friendships with people. As society is now beginning to open back up again, we will also be arranging COMMUNITY MEMBERS ONLY meet ups - bringing you all together - face to face with one another.

Helping you grow: This means that we will be offering learning opportunities to our community members for FREE to help you grow as locums.

What are the 7 main features of the staff treats platform?

E-Vouchers: An E-Voucher is a voucher that is bought prior to a purchase, and is sent to your inbox instantly. You purchase these vouchers at a discounted price, which you can then use to spend. For example, if you've purchased a voucher with the value of £100 with a 10% discount, that means you would be paying £90, and the voucher will still hold the value of £100. You can also use these vouchers in conjunction with any other discounts you're able to apply!

Non-instant E-Voucher: A voucher that is bought prior to a purchase, that may take up to 2 days to arrive in your inbox.

Discount Codes: Discount codes are personalized or publicly-released codes offered to customers as a purchasing incentive that reduces the price of an order.

Reloadable cards: A reloadable card is a physical card that you order from the Staff Treats Platform, and you can top it up as many times as you like once it arrives at your home address. Similar to the E-Vouchers, if you top up the card with £100 and the discount with the brand is 10%, you will only pay £90 but the card will hold the value of £100. You can also use this card in conjunction with other offers (e.g. Tesco Clubcard). It typically takes 1-2 days for the money to be uploaded to the card.

One-Load Card & Paper Vouchers: One load cards are physical cards that are sent to your home address. They are pre-loaded with a set amount chosen by you, which you cannot top up once all the money on the card is spent. These are especially great to send to someone as a gift.

Cashback: When you buy something, you get a percentage of the amount it cost back to you. This means cashback is a way of getting money off things you buy – think of it like a reward.

Concierge Service: A personal one-to-one lifestyle concierge service available via email and on the phone. Staff Treats’ dedicated lifestyle managers and concierge experts are fully equipped to deal with your bespoke enquiry, no matter how big or small. Getting assistance has never been easier!

How do I get access to the LAL community?

So, at this point I'm sure you are probably wondering how you gain access to this Locate a Locum community group. Well, the answer to this is very simple and that is that you don’t need to do anything. You just need to keep on making applications and winning shifts. We will be keeping a close eye on everyone’s account and will be rewarding our most active and hard working locums with membership access.
