At Locate a Locum, we are so proud to be sponsoring Pharmacy Support's #ActNOW campaign for this year's trainee pharmacist cohort. The week-long ACTNow wellbeing campaign helps trainees coming to the end of their training placement to get mentally prepared for the upcoming summer General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) assessment and subsequent transition to registered responsible pharmacist.
Our sponsorship allows Pharmacist Support to respond to needs and develop resources targeted to the specific issues and challenges faced by trainee pharmacists. It also allows them to continue providing free and confidential services to thousands across the sector every year, as well as the now well-established campaign.
ActNOW Campaign
This year’s ACTNow wellbeing campaign will provide support through a range of resources and activities on topics such as managing anxious thoughts, preparing for the assessment and sleep” as well as getting ready for the pharmacy.
This year’s campaign aims to alleviate some worries pharmacy students may have and build confidence by giving them tools to help them prioritise their wellbeing and better manage their stresses and anxieties around assessments and result days.
Resources from Locate a Locum
In the lead up to the GPhC exam we will be sharing multiple resources with trainee pharmacists from past and current partnerships with Pharmacy Industry Expert Thorrun Govind and founder of Pre-Reg Shortcuts Marvin Munzu. We've put together wellbeing and self-care advice for trainees as the exam date soon approaches and nerves can begin to set in. If you are sitting the exam in June please sign up to Pharmacy Support's ActNOW campaign to receive top quality advice and support from the industry's dedicated charity.
